VIDEO: Human roadblock impedes South Side traffic

Written By Chicago News Report on Sunday, September 2, 2012 | 9/02/2012 06:26:00 PM

During an alleged altercation on Chicago's South Side, a large crowd of young African Americans clogged the street -- bringing traffic to a complete standstill.

The illegal roadblock was filmed on the 6200 block of South Rhodes Avenue and posted on Chicago's Woodlawn Community Facebook page on August 30, 2012.

One Facebook user who commented on the video said she was surprised the people moved out of the way.

Sadly, anyone who has ever driven through certain South Side neighborhoods on a warm day, knows this is a common occurrence.
