A victim, trying to sell a cell phone in Chicago’s Far North Side West Ridge neighborhood, was robbed by two men who responded to an online advertisement, said police.

Around 2:18 p.m., the victim met two males in their 20s, believed to be of Middle Eastern decent, at the intersection of West Peterson Avenue and North Mozart Street, near Mather Park, said police.

Investigators said one of the men grabbed the cell phone and both suspects fled the scene in a black Toyota Camry.

The driver was wearing a white T-shirt and the passenger was dressed in a blue button-down shirt, said police.

The getaway vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Peterson from Mozart, at a high rate of speed, said police.
