Sherman Wilson arrested for CTA Red Line robbery

55-year-old Sherman Wilson of the 7400 block of North Ashland Avenue was arrested Thursday, August 31, 2012, in connection to an earlier armed robbery on CTA's Red Line, said police.

According to officials, on an unspecified date, Wilson pulled a knife on a commuter and stole the victim's watch. 

Wilson was apprehended at the Jarvis Red Line station in Rogers Park, after a CTA employee recognized Wilson from a surviellence video.
