Pizza delivery man beaten, robbed in West Rogers Park

A Chicago pizza delivery driver, described by authorities as 45-year-old man, was injured during a mugging on the city’s Far North Side, said police.

The robbery occurred around 12:47 a.m. on the 2100 block of West Estes Avenue, near Estes and Belle, in the West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood.

Four black males attacked the driver, stole a pizza, his car keys, and an undisclosed amount of cash, said police.

After the robbery, one thief fled southbound through George B. Armstrong Elementary School, and the other three offenders fled southbound on Belle Avenue, said police.

According to an eyewitness, the crooks may have fled the area in a gray or green Chevy Suburban, said police.
