In less than 24 hours, a second man was injured during an apparent accident at a Far North Side Rogers Park train station.

Around 7:50 p.m., authorities were notified that a man fell onto the tracks at the Howard Red Line stop at 7519 North Paulina Street.

Citing police communications, when officers arrived at the scene, the man was unconscious and breathing.

CTA temporarily cut the power, so rescue workers could remove the man from the train tracks.

Power was restored to the effected area around 8:05 p.m.

The injured man was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinios, in unknown condition.
