
Starting around 12:22 a.m., several shots were fired on the 6200 block of North Artesian Avenue, near Artesian and Rosemont, in the city’s West Rogers Park, West Ridge neighborhood.
At least one bullet pierced a nearby apartment window, said an officer at the scene.
The shooter was described as a white male, about 6’1”, and 200 pounds.
Investigators said the rifleman was wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.
Another white male, wearing a white tank top and light-colored shorts, was seen fleeing the scene with shooter, said police.
