According to police communications, the victim was mugged around 1:30 p.m. in an alley west of the 7200 block of North Sheridan Road, between Chase and Touhy Avenues.
Investigators said two Hispanic males wearing black hooded sweatshirts and baggy jeans, stole the victim’s iPod, a T-mobile cell phone, and a wallet containing $80.
One of the robbers was armed with a small, black handgun, said police.
Both Suspects are believed to be 18 to 24-years-old and approximately 5’7” to 5’9”. Authorities said one thief has a really thin build.
After the robbery, the victim went the Rogers Park CITGO at 7138 North Sheridan Road, where he was interviewed by police.
