A vehicle slammed into a Far North Side bank in Chicago’s West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood, said police.

The apparently DUI-related accident, which was reported around 9:31 p.m., occurred at the Devon Bank at 6445 North Western Avenue, near Western and Arthur, said authorities.

According to preliminary reports, a car, described as a Mustang, left a hole in a concrete wall and completely destroyed a window.

The vehicle may also be responsible for property damage at Devon and Hamilton, said police.

By 9:40 p.m., the city building inspector and the bank’s chairman were both notified.
