Wanted: Lakeview East flasher, Uptown and Edgewater burglars

It's been an extremely busy weekend for criminals in Chicago.

In Lakeview East, around 6:34 a.m., an unknown male offender exposed his penis to a woman walking her dog on the 400 block of West Melrose Street, near Melrose and Lake Shore Drive, said police.

The flasher was described as a black male with a brown complexion, short hair, 20 to 30-years-old, about 6'2" with a stocky build.

The suspect, who was wearing an orange shirt, was last seen walking westbound on the south side of Melrose Street, said police.

Shortly after the incident in Lakeview East, a male suspect tried to break into a an Uptown neighborhood apartment on the 900 block of West Argyle Street.

The would-be burglar is a male Hispanic, about 5'7", and 180 pounds.

Citing police dispatch reports, the offender was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt, black pants, a black cap, and a brown flannel shirt or jacket.

Several hours later in Edgewater, at approximately 9 a.m., a thief broke into a basement on the 5700 block of North Magnolia Avenue, near Magnolia and Victoria Street, said police.

The intruder was described as a black male, about 5'8", with a medium to stocky build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black jogging pants. He may also walk with a limp, said police.

The burglar, who was in an apparent rush to leave the crime scene, left behind his own backpack, said police.
