Six to seven black males were filmed loitering in front of a Far North Side restaurant; the person who videotaped the group said they were selling drugs.
The incident was filmed outside the Jamaica Jerk restaurant at 1631 West Howard Street, between Marshfield and Paulina.
In the video, one black male, believed to be part of the group, was stationed in a doorway at 1635 West Howard Street. He appeared to be engaged in a casual conversation on his cell phone.
An eighth suspect, on the opposite side of the street, acknowledged the group, then left the area in a dark-colored Caddillac with the possible license plate of P91 6217.
Seconds before the cops arrived, all the players fled scene.
