Gunshots were fired at a motorist driving through Chicago’s North Side Edgewater neighborhood, said police.

Starting around 3:19 a.m., citizens reported shots fired on the 6000 block of North Kenmore Avenue, the 6000 block of North Sheridan Road, and 1000 block of West Glenlake Avenue.

About a minute later, police stopped a red, Oldsmobile Cutlass near the intersection of Broadway and Rosemont.

Authorities said the Cutlass had bullet holes in its rear window.

Citing police communications, the driver said two black males standing on the corner of Kenmore and Thorndale fired several shots at him.

The shooters, who were said to be 20 to 25-years-old, were wearing all black clothing and one male was wearing a White Sox hat.

The gunmen were last seen going southbound on Kenmore, said police.

As of 3:46 a.m., no injuries were reported and the shooters were still at large.
