Citing police dispatch reports, the theft happened around 5 a.m. at the corner of North Broadway and West Addison Street… north of the neighborhood Jewel-Osco.
The crook was described as a 6-foot-tall black man with a goatee, 45 to 50-years-old, wearing a white cap and a white shirt.
The mature miscreant was last seen running westbound on Addison Street, toward the CTA Red Line Addison “L” station.
