The robbery occurred Friday, July 13, 2012, around 3 a.m. on the 1100 block of West Fullerton Avenue, near Fullerton and Seminary.
The victim was walking westbound on Fullerton Avenue when an unknown male offender approached her from behind, reached into her purse, and stole a billfold containing money and personal IDs.
The suspect, who was wearing black clothing, was last seen headed eastbound on Fullerton.
The community alert did not provide a complete description of the offender.
