Black males, female wanted for attempted robbery in West Rogers Park

Two black males and a lone black female are wanted for an attempted, armed robbery in Chicago’s West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood, said police.

At 10:29 p.m., a battery, which was later discovered to be related to an attempted robbery, was reported on the 6100 block of North Claremont Avenue, near Claremont and Glenlake.

The initial police dispatch report indicated three black males wearing hats and armed with knives, were seen fleeing the scene.

Subsequent information identified the offenders as two black males and a black female.

The female mugger was wearing a purple shirt and pajama bottoms, said police.

Investigators said one of the male thieves was dressed in a yellow or gold-colored T-shirt.

According to a responding officer, the black terrorists knocked the victim down and went through the victim’s pockets.

All three suspect was last seen running northbound from the 6100 block of North Claremont Avenue.
