Black gang beats, robs man in Lakeview

A mob of young, African American males are wanted for a strong arm robbery in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, said police.

Sunday, around 2:30 a.m., a man was beaten and robbed in an alley behind 3420 North Clark Street, between Newport and Roscoe, said officials.

The address belongs to a restaurant called Al’s Beef.

Investigators said nine to ten black males, between the ages of 16 to 18-years-old, attacked the victim and stole his cell phone and a wallet containing $200.

If you witnessed any suspicious activity in this area during the time this robbery occurred, please contact the police.
