The incident, which was reported at 10:55 p.m., occurred on the 3400 block of North Elaine Place, near Elaine and Roscoe, said authorities.
A male and a female offender attacked a man and stole his laptop, according to police dispatch reports.
The male suspect was idenitified as a 6’3”, 38-year-old, barefoot black man named Patrick Bovan.
Investigators got the suspect’s name from eyewitnesses who frequent the Halsted and Roscoe area.
Bovan’s accomplice was described as a black female with pink coloring in her hair. She was wearing a brown top and blue jeans shorts, said police.
During the last update, Bovan was seen running southbound on Halsted Street, presumably from Roscoe.
Chicago News Report found a Facebook page belonging to a Chicago man named Patrick Bovan. The profile appears to belong to man in his 30s.
Among Bovan’s Facebook friends is a woman wearing different colored wigs and weaves.
We can’t say for certain this is the same person who robbed the man on Elaine Place, but our hunches are seldom wrong.
