4-on-1 robbery near Lincoln Park, Lakeview “L”

A group of thugs robbed a man outside a North Side CTA train station near the Lincoln Park, Lakeview neighborhood border, said police.

The armed robbery occurred around 9:45 p.m. in front of the Diversey Brown and Purple Lines station at 943 West Diversey Parkway, near Diversey and Sheffield.

The thieves were described as four black males in their teens or 20s.

One of the robbers was armed with a knife, said police.

No further details are available.
