1 injured in Uptown car accident

At least one person was injured in a car crash in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, said police.

The 2-car collision occurred around 3:11 a.m. at the intersection of North Broadway and West Leland Avenue, on the city's North Side.

According to an officer at the scene, the incident involved a taxi cab and another vehicle.

One person was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital in unknown condition.

No further details are available.
