
Citizens reported gunshots in the area of Wilson and Hazel, Windsor and Hazel, and Sunnyside and Hazel, around 6:28 p.m.
According to police dispatch reports, police found shell casings at the intersection of Sunnyside and Hazel.
Eyewitnesses saw a black male fire several shots from a four-door, silver or gray Mitsubishi Galant. The shooter was sitting in the passenger seat, said police.
The getaway car was last seen headed westbound on Windsor from Hazel, said authorities.
About 20 minutes later, four gunshots were heard near Sheridan and Sunnyside, at approximately 6:52 p.m.
At the time of this report, there were no signs of any injuries or property damage.

UPDATE: Police are paying special attention to the area around the Wilson Men's Club, 1124 West Wilson Avenue.
Investigators said a rival gang is trying to initiate a confrontation with the P. Stones.
Officers assigned to the area have been instructed to keep the gangs separated.
UPDATE: 7:08 p.m. -- Gang members are out in numbers at Windsor and Hazel.
According to an officer at the scene, the troublemakers are trying to go west of that location to retaliate for the Hazel Street shooting.
UPDATE: 7:10 p.m. -- A gang disturbance was reported farther north in Edgewater, at Winthrop and Glenlake.
A citizen said gangbangers are flashing signs on the corner.
