Cops: Women attempt purse snatching at Lincoln Park restaurant

Two black women are wanted for an attempted purse snatching in Chicago’s North Side, Lincoln Park, Clybourn Corridor neighborhood.

The incident occurred around 7:52 p.m. at El’s Kitchen, 1450 West Webster Avenue, near Webster and Clybourn, according to police dispatch reports.

One would-be thief is 6’3” with a dark complexion and she was wearing orange sweatpants.

The second suspect is a 5’10” and she was wearing a hot pink skirt.

Both offenders were wearing high heel shoes, said police.

After the attempted theft, the female suspects fled southbound on Clybourn Avenue.
