Some time around 8:30 a.m., someone broke into the OMEGA Boutique at 909 North Michigan Avenue, located inside The Westin hotel, said police.
Prior to committing the crime, the offender drove around the block several times before breaking into the North Michigan Avenue jewelry store, said authorities.
According to investigators, a CTA bus’ camera may have captured the getaway car on tape.
