At approximately 2:10 p.m., a robbery was reported on the 1200 block of North Hermitage Avenue, near Hermitage and West Crystal Street.
The offender, who was described as a male black with a dark complexion and a scruffy beard, stole $60 from the victim, said police.
The robbery suspect is 25 to 35-years-old, about 6-feet-tall, and 260 pounds.
The thief was wearing a denim jacket with a red hooded sweatshirt underneath.
Investigators said the crook fled the scene westbound on Crystal in a dark green, four-door, 1999 Ford.
Here's what the victim said about the robbery:
As I got into the car I set something down on the seat and when I turned around he was in my face demanding I give him all my money.
He had his hand in his pocket pointing what I thought was a weapon at me, so I wasn't resisting, but he then pulled it out and it was just an empty can of Armor All.
Realizing that he didn't have a weapon (and being a pretty big dude myself 6'6" 250lbs) I then tried to push him away but slipped on the ice and once he was on top of me I couldn't do much so I gave him the $60-something I had on me.
He then punched me in the face (breaking a tooth in half and cutting my lip up pretty bad), hopped into his car (a 4 door light blueish sedan - possibly Oldsmobile Aurora - license plate # K99 4556) and sped away.
