Andre "Dmcg" Curry hasn't posted anything on Facebook since December 7 - that's because he was arrested and charged with a felony.
Chicago police and the Department of Children and Family Services investigated Curry for alleged child abuse.
As a result of their investigation, the 21-year-old father, who reportedly works as a waiter at Applebee's, was charged with aggravated battery.
Probably sensing that he was in deep trouble, prior to being charged, Curry told his Facebook friends that he was planning to turn his life around:
Real talk life is too short, so its no time fa bullshyt fa me. I need to wake up everyday and do something productive so that I benefit prosperously in my future.
The South Side father from the 6100 block of South Racine Avenue, is due in court Wednesday, December 21, 2011.
