At 5:14 a.m., police were called to the Rogers Park 7-Eleven at 6801 North Sheridan Road, near Pratt and Sheridan.

According to police dispatch, a tall, bald, black man robbed the store.

The alleged thief, who was wearing a blue shirt and beige khaki pants, fled to 1246 West Pratt Boulevard, where he was apprehended by police.

Authorities took the man back to the store where he was identified as the perpetrator.

It isn’t clear what, if anything, was stolen from the stole.

An official report indicated the suspect allegedly fought with the 7-Eleven employee.

However, no injuries were reported and there were no request for medical services.
