Police are investigating a shooting on Chicago’s Northwest Side.

A Hispanic boy in his teens, was shot at 3920 West Wabansia Avenue, around 3:13 p.m., said police.

The shooting appears to be related to a drive-by shooting. Few details have been released.

The injured teen was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition is unknown.

In what appears to be a related, but separate incident, a woman and her children were driving in their car when several bullets struck their vehicle.

The shooting occurred within minutes of the Wabansia Avenue shooting, several blocks away at the intersection of Hamlin and North Avenues.

None of the occupants in the vehicle were injured, said authorities.

No arrests have been made.

Police are investigating.
