Man stabbed in Lincoln Park

A man was reportedly stabbed in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

The stabbing occurred around 12:40 a.m. Thursday morning at 2100 North Halsted Street. According to Google Maps, the address belongs to a business called Café Bernard.

It isn’t clear if the stabbing happened inside or outside the restaurant. Information posted on Café Bernard’s website indicates the business closes at 10:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The stabbing victim was taken to Swedish Hospital, 5145 North California Avenue, with a minor stab wound to his lower abdomen.

A motive for the stabbing, as well as information regarding the alleged offender, were not disclosed.
