Man robbed at gunpoint on Clark Street

Late Thursday evening, a man was robbed at gunpoint near Chicago’s Uptown/Lakeview neighborhood border. 

The robbery occurred around 10:45 p.m. on the 4000 block of North Clark Street near Clark and Irving Park Road.

The offender displayed a small black handgun, said police.

According to an unofficial report, the suspect is a Hispanic man, approximately 6-feet-tall, and was last seen wearing a blue and red jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath.

Authorities said the thief was last seen running eastbound on Grace from Clark Street.

The robbery victim was not physically injured. 

No further details are available.
